With winter (and a new year) rapidly approaching, now’s the time for a hair switch up. A new season equals change, and there’s no better time for a new look than winter, especially if you want to go dramatic. We’re sharing our favorite winter hair trends to inspire you if you’re itching for change.

Old School Glam

Undone, messy hair has been trending the last few years (which we will always love), but now it’s time to bring back full, glamorous hair. We’re talking big, retro waves. Investing in a set of hot rollers will be the best thing you did this winter. To make your look even more old school, opt for a deep side part.

Honey Lowlights

Step away from the bright blonde highlights of summer and opt for deeper honey or caramel lowlights. This will create a more dimensional look but also isn’t super dramatic.

Flipped Ends

Staying with the retro hair, flipped out ends are an ode to the ‘60s. If you have a bob or lob, this is a great way to spice up your look, especially if you usually wear your hair straight or wavy. Be sure to pump up the volume too.

We’re loving rich, deep brown colors for this winter. If you’re already a brunette, why not go darker? You can also add some sandy brown highlights for more dimension. This is a great year-round color since you can easily go lighter or darker with highlights and lowlights.

Copper and Burgundy

We think red hair is so underrated. Take it to the next level with copper and burgundy undertones for a rich and beautiful look. You will for sure stand out with your gorgeous strands (and for good reason).
