It’s that time of the year again where all we want to do is keep our hair off our necks because of the hot, humid Michigan weather. If you don’t feel like wearing a ponytail or top knot 7 days a week, how about a haircut? Rock a brand new look while simultaneously having a low-effort style.

Not sure what kind of haircut you want? Take some inspiration from haircuts we’ve done in the past:

This is the perfect cut for someone who wants something bold. The angular cut is on trend and you won’t have to put as much effort into styling this, which means less heat. Are you daring enough to rock this cut? We hope you are!

Lobs and Bobs

Lighter, brighter and shorter for Dayna’s client! Textured bobs are all the rage right now, and we’re loving them.

We’ve talked lobs and bobs to death, and for good reason. This cut has been one of the most trendy cuts in recent years. We recommend a textured cut to give the look a little more dimension and edge.

Angled Bob

Adam chopped 8 inches off his client so she can donate it! 🥰 Now, she’s rocking an on-trend bob.

This is a fun twist on the aforementioned lobs and bobs. This also gives the cut more modernity. Angled cuts are good for people with strong jawlines so you can properly show it off.

If you’re not ready to cut off a ton of hair just yet, dip your toes in the water by adding some layers into your hair. This will add more dimension and make your hair more interesting. While you still might have longer hair (and thus, still needing it off your neck), switch up your typical ponytail and top knot by adding some accessories (like headbands or fun hair ties) or creating new versions of these styles.
