Bored with your hair? We’ve all been there before. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut of the same cut, color and style. If you want to switch it up but not make a huge commitment, check out these subtle changes that are sure to make a big difference!
Change the Part
The side you part your hair on can change the way your face appears dramatically. For a quick refresh, flip your hair to the opposite side you usually wear it on, or for a more sleek look, go for a center part!
Trim the Ends
Contrary to what a lot of people think, it’s so important to get regular trims to help your hair grow long. Cleaning up any split ends will make your hair healthier, appear longer and prevent further breakage.
Frame the Face
Guys! I’m so excited to share that I’m partnering with @BlueApron for 6 weeks to bring you addictive recipes from my cookbook, Cravings!! Blue Apron makes home cooking (a minor obsession of mine) super easy and enjoyable, and I can’t wait for you guys to whip up some of my favorite recipes from the comfort of your own home. Did I mention you don’t have to step foot in the grocery store—or outside your house for that matter? TREAT YO SELF. #BlueApronxChrissyTeigen
If you want to add a little bit of color, ask for some highlights around your face. Lighter strands in the front will create dimension and bring more focus to your face.
Shade Up or Down
Dying your hair one or two shades lighter or darker is a slightly more dramatic change than just a couple highlights, yet it doesn’t stray too far from what you’re used to. Ashley Tisdale went from her natural chocolate brown color to a rooty, ash blonde.
Play With Styles
If you always wear your hair curly, try it straight. If your hair is always down, experiment with ways to wear it up. Savannah is sporting a stylish half-up, half-down braided style, while her daughter Everleigh is rocking super cute space buns.
